UPDATE 40 is OUT!!!

Update on August 5th, 2026: Removed a bunch of this news page because I wrote it during a manic episode lol. Was not thinking straight. This was around the time I started going through psychosis.

Update 40 for Murder Miners is OUT motherfucker!!!!!

It's been a long time coming and has been a really rocky road to get this out, but it's finished! And on the main branch! This also includes the music I wrote for the Murder Miners album that you can now hear in-game, no betas required!

The update features so much stuff I'm not even gonna try to list all of it. New guns and new blocks and trigger volumes and new maps and weapon skins and an overhauled customization screen and chat and So much. I made the in-game music and wrote the Murderpedia, an in-game resource to learn about the game's mechanics.

Darkhare (mmh guy) and I also made the animated trailer (they animated all the stuff, i did the little intro/outro and music and final edit) and we're super proud of it. You can watch it here. The team at Murder Miners Hub killed it.

The album has also been updated; new track for the Update 40 trailer and the bonus tracks have been moved to The Starfy Archives since they're unfinished and barely tracks. This also includes the full version of Goodbye, Murder Miners as it's about shit that has since been resolved with the team (and frankly I think it's quite bad anyways) but I'll keep it there for anyone who wants to find it. Particularly if anyone finds me via Liver Party because that track is technically Liver Party shit. The instrumental is staying on the album though as a nice little closer.

I should mention that we can't update the Xbox One port. That version is in JForce's hands and is very, very buggy and out of date. Don't get the shitty xbox version it sucks.


Fun Tip: the little Update 40 logo that's on the image above i actually made for this news page first and then i needed a logo for the trailer so i used it there too and now its just next to the MM logo in-game for the period while u40 is new because double really liked it :)
